The Duration Of The Cpa Exam Is Different In 2011
Everyone that plans to get a cpa license in 2011 should know that there have been some slight changes to the duration of each part of the exam. For those who had their hopes up that the financial accounting and reporting section has increased duration will be disappointed. FAR will last three and a half hours as it did until now. BEC has now 3 written communications, logically this means that it will last longer. So BEC will be longer by three hours. AUD, having removed written communications will last four hours less, than it did until now. Even with these changes that the CPA committee made, the total time for all parts of the exam is still fourteen hours. You should get used to these new times if you studied using the old timing. Not only that, but make sure that the course you study with knows everything about the latest changes.
